Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born 25th August, 1949) is an American TV chef personality. She was also a former instructor of the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host sporting spiky blonde wigs and a pumped-up appearance, shares tips on how to cook restaurant-style dishes at home, using easy methods. Chef Burrell was employed in New York at top restaurants and studied the Italian culinary tradition and its landscape. Also, she was a contestant on Iron Chef America on Food Network. Early on, while growing up in the upstate area of New York, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. After earning an English and Communication degree at Canisius College in Buffalo NY she was able to pursue her love of the business of restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America.
